Since 2003, Chris has sold more than $1 billion in high-end property, including 9 oceanfront homes. He was the exclusive real estate specialist for Coast Magazine in central and north Laguna Beach (2010-2013). Previous Experience
Chris entered the real estate profession after a successful 18-year career as a technology sales manager, including 10 years at Microsoft Corporation, where his group generated over $750 million annually in net revenue through sales to the federal government, and 5 years at SAP software, where he ran the Homeland Security sales group.
Education
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Arizona, where he studied computer science and Russian, with a math/physics minor. While in college, Chris assisted in his family's real estate business. He also started a computer consulting business, and worked on an exclusive research project, analyzing international computing technology for government intelligence agencies. Chris holds a blue water sailing certification from the ASA.
Interests
Chris is married and has two children in Laguna's school system. His interests include travel, literature, impressionist and modern art, architecture and design, food and wine, competitive chess and other strategy games, skiing, sailing and yacht racing. He has traveled extensively in Europe, Russia, Central America and the Caribbean, Australia, and North America. As the captain of his own 52-foot sloop, Chris has sailed from Trinidad to the upper coast of Maine and back, twice, and to many destinations in the Caribbean and eastern US. He is also an avid stand-up paddle boarder and fitness runner. He and his family have lived in Laguna's Mystic Hills neighborhood since 2004.
