ARCH BEACH HEIGHTS
ABOUT ARCH BEACH HEIGHTS
Located 950 feet above Woods Cove, Arch Beach Heights offers spectacular views from most homes, as well s proximity to Moulton Meadows Park and the Aliso Woods Canyon Wilderness. The park has public tennis courts, basketball, soccer fields, playgrounds and a fitness course, and it connects to the Top of the World neighborhood by way of a mile-long fire access road, closed to car traffic, which runs along a ridge with amazing views of Laguna Beach and the Pacific, and Saddleback Valley as well. Aliso Woods Canyon Wilderness is a natural preserve with hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails spanning hundreds of acres of canyons. The neighborhood dates back to the 1940s and has a San Francisco "row house" feel. Most of the lots are 30 or 40 feet wide and 100 feet deep. Most are two levels with the better ocean views upstairs. Many have been renovated or rebuilt, and a fair number are on double lots. There are three roads that access Arch Beach Heights from the town below - Nyes Place, Summit Road and Alta Vista. The density is higher than the average for the city, and Arch Beach Heights is very family-oriented, with more children per household than average. Homes range in price from just over $1 million to about $3 million, with a few exceptions priced higher than that - making Arch Beach Heights one of the more affordable neighborhoods in Laguna.
